Project management

Need help getting everyone pointing in the right direction? We get business and public sector projects to the finishing line.

Multi partner, multi agency, multi funded projects with many strands, several stakeholders and competing objectives? Tricker PR can project manage complex schemes:

Our work includes:

The Big Green Challenge for Highlands and Islands Enterprise – project management and delivery of this Highlands-wide schools debating competition. Our role includes the recruitment of schools to participate, creation of curricularly sound schools’ packs and teachers packs, organisation of heats across Scotland on mainland and islands, hosting of grand final for eight schools plus all travel and accommodation, arranging grand prize – which has included trips to Iceland  as well as crisis management from teachers’ strikes to hotel fires and lost baggage!

Food and Fiddles – the recruitment of tourism business participants for this fortnight long celebration of great Scottish produce and traditional music. Production and distribution of all brochures, leaflets and posters and all public relations activities along with evaluation of the event.

Food Standards Agency Teachers’ Panels – running several teachers’ panels each year across Scotland to gain insight to and feedback on Schools resources. From recruiting teachers to attend the panels to all research into the resources (school’s packs etc) and whether they match with required Curriculum for Excellence experiences and outcomes.

Rebranding of Scottish Women’s Institutes to the SWI – Managing third party agencies to deliver a new brand identity for the SWRI to attract new members from all ages of Scottish women.

“Just wanted to say thank you very much to all of you for another fantastic Big Green Challenge. I know this year has been particularly tricky and the timescales were extremely tight, but you did a great job under difficult circumstances and the Grand Final on Friday went extremely well. “

Teachers’ Panel participants’ comments:

“An excellent opportunity to exchange views with colleagues and have a positive influence and input into materials that we require and use daily in our schools.”

“I found the teacher’s panel very informative for myself and have enjoyed looking at the different resources I can use with my own class.  Also feel our views on the materials evaluated have been listened to.”
